The Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET is a scholarship funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and administered by OeAD GmbH in cooperation with the ASEAN-European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET).

Eligibility Highlights
- Education Level:
- Undergraduates and graduates in artistic fields for music practice stays
- Postgraduates pursuing full PhD programs at ASEA-UNINET member universities or Austrian institutions
- Postdoctoral researchers involved in teaching and research at ASEA-UNINET member universities
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for full PhD and music practice grants; maximum 45 years for postdocs.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and/or German as per program requirements.
- Other Conditions: Applicants must not have lived or worked in Austria for more than 6 months prior to the grant start.
Scholarship Coverage (Benefits)
- Monthly living allowance of approx. €1,300
- Tuition fees waived for study and research in Austria
- Travel subsidy up to €1,200 for airfare
- Health and accident insurance
- Support with accommodation and visa procedures.
