Stipendium Hungarian Scholarship 2026 in Hungary (Fully Funded)

We would like to share information about the fully funded scholarship offered by the Government of Hungary.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Full coverage of tuition fees.
  • Monthly Stipend
  • For Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees: Approx. HUF 43,700/month (~EUR 100-110).
  • For Doctoral level: HUF 140,000/month for the first 4 semesters; HUF 180,000/month for the second 4 semesters.
  • Accommodation in a dormitory or a contribution of HUF 40,000/month.
  • Includes health insurance and supplementary medical insurance.

Requirements for Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship

  • Must be a citizen of a Sending Partner country that has an educational cooperation agreement with Hungary.
  • Must meet the academic and language requirements of the chosen study program.
  • Must be nominated by the responsible Sending Partner authority in your home country.

  • Copy of Passport
  • Research Plan (for PhD applicants)

How to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship

  • Check if your country is a Sending Partner and if your desired study program is eligible.
  • Read the relevant Call for Applications carefully.
  • Gather all the necessary documents.
  • Register on the online application system (DreamApply), choose up to two study programs, and upload your documents.
