Applicants from ASEAN countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are eligible to apply, as well as students from other countries around the world.

Scholarship Benefits
- Monthly allowance of approximately €1,300 for living expenses.
- Travel cost subsidy up to €1,200 for airfare.

Requirements for Ernst Mach Grant – Worldwide
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of any country other than Austria.
- Education Level: Graduates, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers from any discipline.
- Age Limit: Generally up to 35 years for research stays and 45 years for postdoctoral grants.
- Language: Proficiency in English or German, depending on the research environment.
- Additional Conditions: Must have a confirmed research supervisor or host institution in Austria.
